Melodee Mitchell

Melodee Mitchell is a dedicated advocate for children and families, shaped by her lived experience as a former foster youth in CA. She is a proud mother of 3 grown daughters and 6 granddaughters, who continue to inspire her commitment to strengthening families. Her journey has fueled a lifelong passion for improving systems that support foster & adopted youth and families. She is especially devoted to programs and community-based initiatives that provide stability, advocacy, and opportunity. Through her work, Melodee strives to uplift families, empower parents, and create lasting, positive change in her role with PCC.
