Structured Therapeutic Support Beyond Traditional Wraparound

PCC's Day Program gives adopted children the additional structure, healing, and connection they need, while keeping them at home with their family.

When Wraparound Alone Isn't Enough

Some children need more than weekly visits. They need a structured environment where they can practice the skills they're learning, build relationships with trained staff, and experience therapeutic support in a consistent, predictable setting.

PCC's Day Program exists for these children.

It's not a residential placement. It's not removing your child from the home. It's giving them, and you, additional support during the most challenging seasons of your family's journey.

"PCC provides post-adoption wraparound services to children who are at risk of being taken out of their home."

- Helene Timpone

Why Refer Families to PCC

Therapeutic Structure

A consistent, safe environment where your child works with trained PCC staff on emotional regulation, social skills, and trauma processing. Sessions are individualized to your child's needs and integrated with their overall wraparound care plan.

Trauma-Informed Education

Led by clinicians trained in Helene Timpone's methodology, the Day Program uses evidence-based approaches to help children understand their own behaviors, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.

Parent-Child Bonding Activities

The Day Program isn't just about your child; it's about strengthening your relationship. Activities are designed to create positive shared experiences, rebuild trust, and give parents tools they can use at home.

Seamless Integration With Wraparound

The Day Program works hand-in-hand with your wraparound team. Your Care Coordinator, clinician, and family support specialist stay involved. Nothing happens in isolation; every piece of the plan supports every other piece.

Who the Day Program Is For?

The Day Program may be a good fit for your child if:

  • They are currently receiving PCC wraparound services

  • They need more structure and therapeutic contact than home-based services alone provide

  • They are at risk of placement disruption or residential care

  • Traditional therapy and in-home support have not created enough change

  • They would benefit from consistent peer interaction in a safe, supervised setting

The Day Program is an alternative to higher-level placements like residential treatment or STRTP. It keeps your child at home while providing intensive daily support.
