Your Family Wasn't Given a Manual, but You're Not Alone
Free wraparound support for California adoptive families. No cost through AAP funding.
We Understand What You're Going Through
You welcomed your child home with open arms and all the hope in the world. But no one warned you about what would follow: the tantrums, the aggression, the shutting down, the walls your child has built around themselves.
You've tried everything. Therapy. Consequences. Patience. Love. And still, your child is struggling. Still, the nights are hard. Still, you wonder if you're doing something wrong.
You're not.
Adopted children carry wounds that most therapists aren't trained to treat. Attachment disruption. Early trauma. Grief they can't name. These aren't problems that respond to traditional approaches. Your child isn't broken; they're surviving. And your family doesn't need more willpower. You need the right kind of support.
"PCC provides post-adoption wraparound services to children who are at risk of being taken out of their home."
- Helene Timpone

Day Programs Available
Structured therapeutic support that goes beyond traditional in-home wraparound for children who need more.
Zero Placement Disruptions
Our goal is to keep your family together, and our track record reflects that.
Your Dedicated Support Team, At No Cost
Every qualifying family receives a personalized Child and Family Team built around your family's unique needs:
-
Your single point of contact. They walk alongside your family, organize team meetings, and keep the plan on track. When things get hard at 9 PM on a Tuesday, you have someone to call who already knows your story.
-
A trauma and attachment specialist, not a general therapist. Someone who understands why your child acts the way they do and who can help the whole family heal.
-
Practical, in-home support. Help navigating school systems, community resources, and the daily challenges of raising a child who experienced early trauma.
-
Someone who has been exactly where you are. A parent who adopted, faced the same struggles, and came through the other side. They get it because they've lived it.
-
Peer support for your child or teenager, when appropriate. A safe person who connects with your child on their level.
